‘Manic Depression’, or ‘Bipolar Disorder’, is considered one of the worst kinds of depression people usually suffer from. It is characterized by sudden and extreme mood swings. Manic depression is so-called because manic refers to ‘mania’, which means the ‘ups’ while depression refers to the ‘downs’. Bi-polar also refers to both ends of the spectrum of emotions

According to doctors, someone suffering from Manic Depression may have these so-called manic ‘periods’ not only for a day or so, they can actually go on for as long as a week or even longer.
During the ‘low’ or ‘down’ periods, people suffering from Manic Depression may experience very similar symptoms to those who are suffering from ‘normal’ depression. People who are suffering from Manic Depression experience periods of a depressed state of mind - including feelings of worthlessness and being unloved.
There are various other symptoms too: guilt, extreme sadness, anxiety attacks, feeling of not belonging, extreme pessimism and an obvious loss of pleasure. According to therapists, an individual who is depressed constantly for more than a week can officially be diagnosed as someone who is suffering from Manic Depression.
In spite of it being one of the most common and acute kinds of depressive disorder, Manic Depression can be successfully treated, according to doctors. There’s no reason to worry too much about having it. You just need to follow the procedures that the therapist gives you and take the prescribed medication in the proper dosage in order to help you (or your friend or love one) overcome Manic Depression before it becomes too late.

I was perusing one of those ‘Golfing for Women’ magazines the other day and began wondering where the women live, who wear the golf attire modeled in women’s golfing magazines? I’ve never seen women, not even the professionals, who would wear such expensive and outrageous clothes.
It’s easy to spend money kitting yourself out for golf: hats, sunglasses, gloves, shirts, shorts, socks, windbreakers and shoes all add up quickly, even if you shop at the sales. Then factor in equipment, bag and cart and you have to play quite often to keep the “CPU” - cost per use down to an acceptable level.
One glossy advert showed a beautiful young ‘golfing lady’ in very tiny shorts (as if that’s permitted on golf courses!) that cost nearly $300, a golf shirt at almost $600, a jacket by Ralph Lauren at almost $200 and two-toned Utuser shoes costing $400 plus.
That comes to just about $1,500! I know that it would be impossible for me to get the CPU on that outfit down to anywhere near an acceptable limit in my entire golfing life! Please don’t misunderstand me - I do love clothes and I do really, really love shoes, but I could never afford, nor even want, golf shoes or pants that cost as much as most people’s weekly wages.
OK, you want comfy golfing shoes that don’t look like an old pair of wooden clogs, but honestly, you will be able to buy less expensive and yet still trendy golfing shoes.
I have bought a couple of really stylish golfing outfits, even though none of them are famous brand names. If I were to total up the cost of all of those articles of clothing, it would not come to the cost of a Tse golf shirt. Personally, I would rather have a few nice outfits than one that is priced way too much.
If I were to wear a $1,500 outfit to play golf, I would simply be too worried about getting it dirty or sweating in it to play a decent round.

Light fittings are things that not many of us think about very often. However, the lighting in a room can cause us to feel a certain mood or enhance the atmosphere we want to create in that room. There are many types of light fixtures, fittings, bulbs, shades and stands to suit all areas of the home. That means both indoors and even outdoors where you might want to emphasize some special landscape feature.
Are you planning to redo a room? In this case, I know it concerns a home movie theater room, but it could be any room. I think that you should definitely consider light fixtures as one element to change. For example, you could start by changing the central, overhead incandescent bulb or tube light for sure.
I would suggest installing four or even six small wall-lights. These are not expensive and come in hundreds of colours and sizes to suit any budget. The only drawback with wall lighting for your home theater, is that the wires should really be cut into the wall so as not to be unsightly.
However, you could avoid this by using standard lamps. These are also available in a myriad of designs, but they come with two drawbacks: namely trailing wires and a higher cost. They are moveable though. Small, table lamps is a sub-class alternative, but you may need more electrical points.
Once you have decided on what you want, have each lamp dimmable either in unison or separately, up to you. You should probably keep one fairly powerful light at the business end of things in case the equipment needs seeing to, but it too could be on a dimmer.
The effect can be quite incredible. And all from just changing the pre-existing light fixtures and fittings. You could even increase the level of reality and have an exit sign over the door or a few romantic mood lamps higher up out of line of sight so that they are not distracting, say, a replica 1970s style lunar lamp and a fibre-optic lamp, for amusement or as a talking point while waiting for the film or snacks to be got ready.
So, whatever style home theater lighting you are thinking of, contemporary or old style traditional, you will find dozens of options to choose from. From different colors to different sizes and styles, there are many. You can find them online or in home improvement stores. I have made a link to one of my online favourites below.
And, when you do make the changes, you will notice that your home theater has taken on an ambiance all of its own and it will ” guaranteed ” enhance your home theater experience. It may be these subtle changes, room by room, that make you see your home in a completely different light.

Gas consumers just accept increasing fuel prices. People used to be concerned that gas prices are much higher now than they were a few years ago. Now, however, people just take the higher prices in their stride. Furthermore, in the meantime, vehicles are getting bigger and bigger. Car manufacturers are making trucks and SUVs, which consume more petrol at the higher prices.
These cars use more fuel, but you would never believe just how many people won’t give up their fuel-guzzling SUV. Hybrid vehicles do eventually cost their owners less to own than conventional cars do. So there is no need to worry about putting up with being swindled by the oil companies.
Soon there could be an end to the “cheap oil period”. Soon, we could all be in over our heads, because not only will we be in an fossil fuel crisis, but in a peak oil crisis as well. During this peak oil crisis, there will be petrol shortages and natural gas shortages too. The major countries will be forced to compete against one another for whatever small amount of oil remains.
Therefore, everyone could have some problems, and countries may have to compete for who gets oil and who does not. The peak petrol crisis can be staved off, if more people just purchased hybrid cars. Hybrid vehicles ensure that people are not always having to be searching for gas. Furthermore, there are advances being made to hybrid technology all the time.
The plug-in hybrid cars, for instance, might not even need oil at all one day. On May 15, 2007 the news was published, that Halo 3 would be released on September 25 in North America and the 26th in Europe. Halo 3 marked the third in a wildly popular series for the Xbox 360 called ‘Halo’. According to the vice president of Microsoft’s interactive entertainment business, Halo 3’s release was much more than only a video game release, it was the biggest entertainment event of the year. He might just have been right as well.
The full history of Halo 3 really has to start with the release of the first game in the series ‘Halo: Combat Evolved’. In November, 2001, when Halo was first published, game consoles were something of a nonsense as one-person shoot-em-up games. Yes, some games existed, but there weren’t the popular communities that the PC games in the genre had.
That was all changed in Halo, in which players could battle aliens on foot and in vehicles, in order to complete objectives, while trying to unravel the secret of the Halo. Halo was the first to limit the number of weapons a player could carry to two, which in turn, meant forcing the player to take strategic decisions in order to complete his missions.
Enthusiasts waited for the publication of Halo 3 with baited breath. They awaited the continuation of the one-person, shoot-em-up combat format that had been dominant in the two former parts of Halo. Microsoft calls it the ‘Golden Triangle of Halo’, which consists of gun-type weapons, grenades and others. In actuality, this was not new to one-person, shoot-em-up games, as it had existed since the very first Doom and even the predecessor to that game, “Wolfenstein”.
So, with all of that previous history, people were full of anticipation and excitement over the Halo 3 release date. How popular and welcome was the game? Well, before its release, 3.1 million copies were sold in advance orders and retailers thought that that was not enough.
The game took over $300 million gross in the United States in just its first week. Overall, it has sold over nine million copies worldwide and was the best-selling video game in the United States in 2007. Even the critics loved it, ranking it the seventh highest on the list of Xbox 360 all-time great games.
The Halo 3 release date, like the release date of many wildly popular video games was almost like a holiday like Christmas or Easter. It leaves us with the question of what will happen with video games in the future?

Dating advice is all over the internet, in magazines, books, newspapers and on TV. There’s even an eight year old who wrote a book filled with great dating advice. (That kid is pretty smart and must be really good with the girls, because while basic, all of his dating advice rings true. If you’ve read the book, however, you’d be forced to admit that the eight-year-old boy does know what he’s talking about and he keeps it simple. The important thing in dating is to do just that and not complicate things.
Leave your past in the past. There’s a reason it’s called the past. The first thing any giver of dating advice would tell you is that a fresh start is important for a date to go well. Boring your date with tales of the ex’s misdeeds is a definite no-no. Don’t let old grudges get in the way of new opportunities.
‘Just be yourself’ is probably the best dating advice possible. Sure, people like to show themselves in the best possible light and impress their date, but if they are not behaving their usual selves, not only will they feel uneasy, but their date will pick up on the uneasiness too.
Making sure that your expectations are neither too high nor nor too low is also good dating advice. If you expect too much out of one date, or of the person you are dating, it is bound to be disappointing. Even your date is only human, and first dates are notorious disasters.
A question that crops up time and time again is: who should pay? The general consensus of opinion in dating advice circles is that the one who invites, pays. But, others argue that it is always better to go 50/50 every time to avoid embarrassment. Furthermore, there is yet another school of dating advise though, that reasons that a man is not a gentleman” if he doesn’t offer to pick up the bill. The best thing to do in this scenario would be to settle for something that you and your date are both comfortable with.
Probably texting your date before your meeting is smart dating advise as it puts him or her at ease and allows you to discuss interests or hobbies in a much more informal way and less tense environment than your first date would be. That would allow you to use this as common ground when things get awkward (as they generally do on the first few dates unless there is an instant rapport) and get the conversation going again.
Basically, just remember, no matter how much dating advice you have, it’s all up to you in the end. No date is the be-all and end-all, so if one doesn’t work out, never fear, there will be others. No matter how difficult the first date seems, it does get easier until it’s actually fun.
